Kateryna Boiko

Kateryna Boiko is a versatile and accomplished vocalist with over 12 years of international performance experience and more than 3,000 shows on world stages. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a Master’s degree in Pedagogy, she combines strong academic training with extensive real-world experience as a performer and educator.

Her teaching approach emphasizes healthy vocal technique, breath control, and expressive interpretation, guiding each student to develop their natural tone, stage confidence, and emotional connection to music. Kateryna’s lessons are vibrant and motivating—ideal for students seeking to grow in pop, jazz, R&B, rock, or world music, whether they are beginners discovering their sound or advanced singers refining their artistry.

Maximilian Cordoba

Musical Theatre | Pop | Acting | Stage Performance

Maximilian (Max) Cordoba is a professionally trained singer, actor, and dancer from the San Francisco Bay Area and a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre. His professional credits include leading and supporting roles in productions such as Hello, Dolly!, Cabaret, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Hairspray!.

A passionate and energetic teacher, Max specializes in musical theatre performance, vocal technique, and music theory for students of all ages. With over 15 years of tap dancing experience and a strong background in stage movement and acting, he helps each student build confidence, expression, and artistry both on stage and in the studio.

Dr. Victoria Nieto 

Dr. Victoria Nieto is a Venezuelan choral conductor with experience in children’s, youth, and mixed choirs. She has performed as both an ensemble singer and conductor across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Trained by renowned conductors such as Helmuth Rilling and Josep Vila, she has also led conducting workshops in Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay for the Música para Crecer program, which helps underprivileged children through music. In the U.S., she presented on Venezuelan choral music at conferences and universities.

Her academic credentials include a doctoral degree from the University of Miami, a master’s from Missouri State University, and a bachelor’s from Venezuela. Most recently, she served as the Director of Choral Activities at Hamilton College, where she taught music courses and conducted collegiate choirs.

Anthony Del Barrio 

Band Director / Piano, Guitar & Drums

We’re excited to welcome Anthony Del Barrio, an accomplished pianist, multi-instrumentalist, and musical director, as our Band Director at Institute of Voice.

Anthony brings over 10 years of teaching experience and a rich performance background in Jazz, Classical, Latin, Rock, and R&B. A native of San Francisco, he began classical piano at age 5 and soon expanded into jazz through his school bands.

His dedication earned him a scholarship to Berklee College of Music, and he has since performed and directed music projects across the U.S. Anthony’s teaching journey began in high school when he mentored middle school students—an experience that sparked his passion for education. Today, he teaches piano, guitar, and bass, inspiring students with his wide-ranging musical expertise and creative energy.

Andrew Sundquist

Andrew Sundquist is a classically trained bass vocalist and performer with extensive experience in opera, concert, and choral repertoire. He has appeared in productions such as The Telephone, Trial by Jury, La Curandera, Don Giovanni, Le Nozze di Figaro, and more.

Andrew brings a deep understanding of vocal pedagogy and language diction, with lessons focused on healthy vocal technique, stylistic interpretation, and expressive performance. He is especially skilled in working with younger students, helping them build a strong musical and singing foundation, while also guiding adult learners who wish to develop confidence and artistry in their voices.

Missa Hawk

Missa Hawk is a classically trained soprano and experienced choral musician who brings both artistry and technical precision to her teaching. A graduate of San José State University, she combines a strong academic foundation with a deep passion for helping students discover their most expressive and healthy sound.

Her lessons are ideal for students who are serious about developing their voice, whether pursuing classical or musical theatre styles. Known for her supportive and structured approach, Missa works with young singers, teens, and adults, helping each student grow in technical ability, confidence, and artistic depth.
