1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Institute of Voice ("IOV", "we", "us", or "our") website, mobile application, and vocal instruction services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing the Service, booking a trial, or enrolling in lessons, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Services

IOV provides vocal and music instruction, including private lessons, group classes, choirs, camps, and exam preparation, delivered in person and online. Through our website and app you can book trials, schedule and manage lessons, view make-up credits, receive lesson notes, and pay invoices. Program details, schedules, and pricing may change from time to time.

3. User Accounts & Registration

Some features require an account at app.instituteofvoice.com. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. When a student is a minor, an account must be created and managed by a parent or guardian. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Payment Terms & Refunds

Tuition is billed in advance and is due according to the billing schedule communicated at enrollment. Registration fees, where charged, are non-refundable except as noted in our studio policies. Invoices are paid through our secure payment processor. Late and returned-payment fees may apply.

5. Cancellation & Make-up Policy

Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled subject to the studio's cancellation lead time (24 hours by default). Cancellations made before the lead time earn a make-up credit; cancellations inside the lead time generally remain billable. The studio issues make-up credits automatically when it cancels a lesson. 6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including text, graphics, logos, video, lesson materials, and software — is owned by IOV or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use it solely for your personal, non-commercial use of the Service. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IOV and its instructors, staff, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
